Sheila Dougherty leads the voiceover department at Stewart Talent Chicago, the agency that launched its success and expanded to offices in NY, LA, and Atlanta. With a background in theater and a degree to match, she’s spent her entire agent career at Stewart Talent, starting out as the kids on-camera commercial agent while also assisting in the voiceover department. As Stewart’s voiceover roster took off, Sheila jumped headfirst into the fast-paced and creative world of voiceover—and hasn’t
looked back since!

Throughout her decades-long career, Sheila has not only championed established voice talent but has also actively sought out, nurtured, and developed up-and-coming voiceover artists. Sheila and her team of VO agents represent a vibrant mix of voices across the industry, covering everything from commercials and animation to promos, industrials, documentaries, and video games.To this day, Sheila still gets a kick out of hearing one of Stewart’s voices featured on a spot.

Please prepare a brief commercial copy to perform live in class. Upon registration, we will send you a link to our commercial database that you are welcome to browse.
