Online 2-Week TV/Film On-Camera Intensive with Top TV Casting Director - Sophia Welch!

This class is for actors 16 years old and up and you will be working on scene study and audition techniques. This will be a live interactive class where you will have a Q&A and you will be able to perform and get feedback from Sophia. You will be able to download the recordings of your performances for educational purposes and send us your headshot, resume, acting reel and anything else you want Sophia to see.

Sophia Welch is a casting professional with more than a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, casting in all genres for entertainment conglomerates, studios, and independent casting offices. Her credits include FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY, starring Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, Spectrum's LA'S FINEST, starring Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union, and Starz's HIGHTOWN, starring James Badge Dale and Monica Raymund. While at NBCUniversal, Sophia helped oversee casting for several series, including USA's SUITS and MR. ROBOT, and Syfy's THE EXPANSE and THE MAGICIANS. At Fox, she worked as the Associate Casting Director on UNDERWATER, starring Kristen Stewart, and helped lead casting on Fox features including JOJO RABBIT and the Oscar-winning BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY. She also served as a casting consultant for Fox's EMPIRE, Paramount+'s WHY WOMEN KILL, and Hulu's WU TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA.

Class 1: Please bring a 2-3 page scene from Film/TV. 

Class 2: Please bring a contrasting scene to class 1
